As a true entrepreneur, Nathan started his own construction company shortly after earning his Journeymen's Degree for the Local Carpenter's Union. For more than 20 years, Nathan has been dedicated to producing the highest quality craftsmanship in construction. Attention to detail and the skill necessary to build a custom home is an art that Nathan has accomplished.
High quality has always been a goal which Nathan has striven to achieve. He participated in the Indiana State Carpenter's Apprenticeship Contest, and won the Gold Hammer Award. The same high quality is evident in a Nathan Johnson custom home, from the crown molding at the ceiling, to the inlaid tile on the floor.
There are many skilled craftsmen needed to build a quality custom home. When Nathan started his business, he did nearly all the work himself, with a few helpers. He learned all the various aspects of the skills involved and how to blend them into a beautiful custom home. Personal attention to details is still Nathan's hallmark.
Nathan approaches each home as an individual entity. The customer's needs and desires are paramount. Whether his customer wants the highest quality no matter the cost, or the best quality to fit their budget, Nathan is always dedicated to providing his customers what they need. He personally chooses and directs each skilled craftsman and distributor whom he uses to build his custom homes so his customer's needs will be met.
Nathan's wife, Myra, works closely with him, handling most of the office duties and helping customers with design details and making selections. "Nathan and I do everything we can to make the building experience a comfortable and positive one for our customers," Myra remarks.
